Biographies: Larry Masin
EXECUTIVE COACH, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS AND INDIVIDUAL & GROUP CAREER TRANSITION
Larry Masin brings to the practice of executive coaching and career development over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing management coupled with a psychotherapy background. This combination brings a balanced approach to the practice of coaching with specialization in management development, improving communication and organizational skills, behavioral issues, work habits, career development and transition, and developing effective time and stress management skills.
Mr. Masin has extensive experience establishing new sales organizations and marketing functions within organizations, opening new territories, and expanding markets. His experience, which includes the hiring and management of sales and marketing professionals, makes him an effective and highly sought-after coach for market-driven organizations.
Mr. Masin’s coaching and career development experience includes working with senior management, including Presidents and C-level executives. He has successfully undertaken a wide variety of coaching assignments spanning a broad breadth of industries, including entertainment, information technology, aerospace, banking, communications, consumer products, defense, financial, healthcare, high technology, and insurance. Corporations to which Larry has provided consulting and coaching services include Fox Networks, News Corp., DIRECTV, AEG, EMI, NBC Universal, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, Farmers Insurance, Capital Pacific Homes, 21st Century Insurance, Allianz Insurance, Bax Global, BP/ARCO, BSH, Cedars-Sinai, Disney, Litton Guidance/Northrop Grumman, Camfil Farr, WellPoint, and Pepperdine University.
Mr. Masin has served as Managing Director, Vice President and Senior Vice President for Executive Coaching and Program Development for Hand & Associates. Over his 12-year tenure, he was involved in sales and marketing, overseeing coaching, career transition counseling, organizational development, and staff and operations matters. He was also responsible for the development of coaching programs, workshops, and organizational development programs.
Mr. Masin received his M.S. in Educational Psychology and MFT from California State University, Northridge and graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. with a BA in Political Science and Urban Affairs.
